Arrival & Getting Around

Malmö is one of Scandinavia's easiest cities to reach. Whether you're arriving by plane, train, car or ferry, excellent transport connections make travelling to and from the city simple. Once you're here, you'll also find an efficient public transport system, extensive cycling paths and many attractions within walking distance.

By Air

Malmö is served by two convenient airports: Malmö Airport in Sweden and Copenhagen Airport in Denmark. Both offer excellent connections to the city by train, bus and car.

By Train

Malmö Central Station is a major railway hub with frequent services from Copenhagen, the rest of Sweden and parts of northern Europe. Fast and comfortable train connections make travelling to Malmö easy.

By Car

Driving to Malmö is straightforward via Sweden's motorway network or across the iconic Öresund Bridge from Denmark. The city also offers several parking facilities in and around the centre.

By Ferry

Ferry connections between southern Sweden, Denmark and northern Germany make travelling by sea an attractive option. Malmö also welcomes cruise ships and visiting leisure boats during the summer season.
