Lyssna: Covid-19-related hospitalizations expected to double in May

The Public Health Agency is predicting that more patients with Covid-19 will need hospitalization in May, reports news agency TT.

For now, more than 25 Covid patients are hospitalized every day, but according to estimates from the agency that will double in the middle of May, reports Dagens Medicin.

In the scenario, which stretches from April 20 to July 20, around 60 people per day are expected to need hospitalization, due to the variant omicron BA.2.
