The images of fireworks being shot into crowds in Malmö have been shared widely.

Members of Sweden?s fireworks industry have called an emergency meeting after a widely shared video from New Year?s Eve showed rockets being fired into crowds of people in Malmö.

The video from Möllevångstorget, a square in central Malmö, showed chaotic scenes, with people ducking for cover as fireworks whistled past them.

There were also other reports from elsewhere in the country of fireworks being aimed at buses and emergency service vehicles.
