Malmö FF claim Swedish title for record 19th time

Mattias Svanberg celebrates scoring Malmö's second in a title clinching 3-0 win at Falkenberg.

Malmö FF were crowned Swedish champions for a third time in four years  after a 3-0 win at Falkenberg.

Elfsborg's 2-1 win against defending champions IFK Norrköping clinched Gold for Malmö, who are now Sweden's most successful club, having surpassed IFK Gothenburg's record of 18 Allsvenskan titles. 

"We are the best Swedish team in history," striker Markus Rosenberg told tabloid Aftonbladet.

Three thousand travelling Malmö FF fans celebrated with the players on the pitch following the final whistle.
