Sweden's winemakers in the south of the country are predicting a bumper harvest thanks to a sunny May and September.

Vintners in Skåne hope for a record harvest this year. The summer heat in May resulted in an unusually early flowering and the current high pressure over Scandinavia is optimal for ripening of the grapes, says Linda Aronsson, a small wine producer at Aplagården outside Helsingborg.
