Increase in human trafficking into Sweden

In the last year Swedish police have arrested 363 people for planning or carrying out human trafficking, reports Dagens Nyheter.

Skåne border police, who cover the far south, say they have seen a fivefold increase in such cases. The increase is said to be due to both the new border controls, and to an increase in trafficking.
