Wallström: "The EU must show humanity"

Sweden's foreign Minister Margot Wallström welcomes the decision to pick up thousands refugees walking from Hungary to Austria, and to drive them by bus across the border.

As she was entering the ongoing meeting of EU's foreign ministers in Luxemburg, Wallström told Swedish Radio News:

"We have all seen terrible pictures. We now need to show humanity and not use violence against people who are so vulnerable and desperate. It feels good that this has been resolved in a way that is hopefully better and where we can show our humanity," she said.
