Man held for Malmö explosion

A 19-year-old man has been remanded into custody for a bombing outside a restaurant in Malmö earlier this year, reports news Agency TT.

The 19-year-old was arrested last Wednesday on suspicion of devastation endangering the public. His lawyer said that he denies the crime.

No one was hurt in the incident, but there was damage to buildings, windows and vehicles.

Sweden's third largest city has experienced a wave of grenade attacks in the past year in gang-related violence.
