Bed bugs are a growing problem in Sweden. Now man's best friend is being enlisted by pest controllers to help in the clean-up.

Pest controllers have hit on the idea of utilizing dogs' excellent sense of smell in the fight against bed bugs, in the same way as the police and customs officers use sniffer dogs to find drugs.

Toni Liebl, pest technician at Anticimex in Västerås, thinks that the dogs are a great help:
