SD ad campaign snubbed by Skåne transit authority

The public transportation authority in the Skåne region (Skånetrafiken) will not run a Sweden Democrat ad campaign apologizing for beggars, which caused outrage after being used in a Stockholm subway station.

The decision came Tuesday morning as a response to a request by the Sweden Democrats, who wanted their ads on the buses of three of the southern region's main cities: Malmö, Lund and Helsingborg.

"We say no. The texts in the ads are offensive and do not suit our values," Skånetrafiken transit head Linus Eriksson tells local newspaper Sydsvenskan.
