The python in Malmö that had escaped twice has been found, its owner has told the city environmental authorities.

“It’s difficult for us to confirm that it has been found,” environment inspector Carl Runsbech tells Swedish Radio’s P4 Malmöhus. “”If he says that he has found the snake, then we assume he has done so.”

Runsbech says it’s still unclear if the owner has the wayward python in his possession right now, or who found it.

The snake most recently escaped Monday from the owner's parked car.
