Suspected Ebola case in Malmö

A patient with a suspected case of Ebola has been admitted to Malmö's University Hospital, Swedish Radio News reports.

The patient is in an isolated room, but the suspicion level is low.

"It's a person who recently came home from West Africa and has a fever, which is among the suspicion criteria. The patient is now isolated and we're taking tests which are being sent to the Public Health Agency in Stockholm," says Håkan Miömer, medical officer at the Regional Office of Communicable Diseases Control and Prevention.
