Increased toursim bring Swedish hotel boom

Rising tourism is leading to more and more hotels springing up all over Sweden, primarily in large cities. But in Malmö hotel prices are dropping and there is worry that too many hotels are being built there.

The situation is different in Stockholm, however. Lars Sandberg is the director of the Scandic Grand Central hotel in Stockholm and he told Swedish Radio News that he is seeing more tourists and fewer conference guests, but no signs that the hotel industry is over reaching.
