Stockholm's Globe will host Eurovision 2016

Stockholm's Globe Arena will host the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest with both the semifinals and the final being held in the capital.

Sweden's Måns Zelmerlöw brought the show to his home country after winning in Vienna this year with his hit "Heroes". But even before his victory, Swedish Television had contacted a few venues in different Swedish cities about hosting the 2016 edition.

Sweden last hosted the musical competition in 2013 in the southern city of Malmö, the public broadcaster reports.
