Soon children here with autism may get their diagnosis earlier. Children are being screened for autism in Gothenburg as young as 2 and a half, and Region Skåne is considering general screening for autism among preschoolers.

P4 Malmöhus spoke with a woman they call Annica, the mother of a 13 year old girl with autism. The daughter was diagnosed two years ago, and Annica believes an earlier diagnosis would have saved both her and her daughter a lot of pain.
