Rain, cold, and even thunderstorms. However, the wet weather will not be putting a stop to Swedes' Midsummer celebrations as they prepare to sing and dance around their Midsummer maypoles.

The Olsson-Pedersen family in Malmö was about to cancel this year's usual midsummer celebrations in the city's Folkets Park because of the wet weather. But instead, the family packed its waterproofs instead - and headed off to prepare the wreaths of flowers in readiness for the dance around the Midsummer pole.
