Midsummer getaway hit by rail delays

A faulty overhead powerline past Norrköping affected train traffic between Stockholm and Malmö on one of the busiest holiday travel days of the year.

The Swedish Transport Adminstration on Friday afternoon had no idea when the trains could start again.

The power shortage has affected trains on the Stockholm-Linköping-Malmo route, according to rail operator SJ.
