111,000 new jobs in next two years

The Swedish Public Employment Service released a new prognosis Wednesday, saying that unemployment will decrease from 7.8 percent in 2015 to 7.5 percent in 2016, with 111,000 new jobs being added.

A further decrease in unemployment is being held back by the large numbers entering the work force. Employment is expected to increase by 50,000 in 2015 and by 61,000 in 2016, with almost all of the increase happening among those born outside Sweden, the national employment service wrote in their report.
