Police detain 19 in Malmö shoot-out

Police in Malmö have detained 19 of the 27 men arrested after a shoot-out on Monday night. The mass arrests took place after two criminal gangs opened fire on each other between housing blocks in the Rosengård area of town.

Officers released 8 suspects, though police said they freed men are still suspected of crimes.

Police were present in the Rosengård area, when two groups started shooting at each other. The police said that they partly witnessed the gunfire which happened around 11 pm. No one was injured.
