The Swedish Cricket Federation was celebrating at the weekend after the committee that governs sport in Sweden voted "yes" to giving it membership to the Swedish Sports Confederation. Although the proposal still needs to be put to a members vote at this weekend's annual general meeting, it seems that cricket will be welcomed into the Swedish sports fraternity.
