Convicted serial killer Peter Mangs intended to murder star footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mangs claims in a self-published autobiography.

In the book, Mangs recounts spotting an illegally parked Ferrari in the southern city of Malmö, local newspaper Skånska Dagbladet reports. He thought the car belonged to Ibrahimovic and hurried home to retrieve his gun, but when he returned the car was gone. In his book, Mangs speculates about the commotion and media reaction the murder would have caused.

In 2013, Mangs was sentenced to life in prison for two murders and eight attempted murders.
