Easter rail disruption: Warning of long delays

Rail users have been warned of travel disruption over Easter due to engineering work with journey times to and from Stockholm taking up to three hours longer.

The planned line improvements between Thursday 2 and Monday 6 April, will disrupt travel for at least 35,000 people, reports Swedish Radio News.

The Stockholm - Gothenburg high-speed trains will take up to three hours longer. Rail users on the Stockholm-Malmö route must ride the bus between Södertälje and Stockholm.
