Sundsvall municipality is recommending small children stay indoors during the solar eclipse today, worried they may damage their eyes if they look straight at the celestial spectacle.

Sweden will not see a total eclipse this morning, with the path of totality moving across the northern Atlantic and North Sea, just off of Scandinavia, but up to 90 percent of the sun will be covered by the moon for much of the country.
