Lyssna: "Sweden and England have quite a lot in common when it comes to comedy"

It was one of the comedy successes of the eighties, but up until now, Rowan Atkinson's Blackadder has never appeared properly on the stage, until now.

Next week a Stockholm theatre will host the first ever theatre production about the anti-hero Edmund Blackadder and his sidekick Baldrick, in Swedish.

In Sweden, Blackadder is called Svarte Orm, and playing the iconic role is comedian David Batra.
