The national debt collection agency's offices in Västra Hamnen in Malmö were evacuated and cordoned off today after the agency received an envelope with a suspicious white powder, reports news agency TT.

Masstorget, which is in the area, has also been roped off.

At least three people have handled the letter, and police experts are at the scene.

The letter had already been opened by one person at the Tax Agency at Hjalmar Gullbergsgatan. Then the letter was taken to the debt collection agency.
