Malmö police station fears bomb attack

After several bomb attacks in Malmö the road by the local police station in Davidshall has been sealed off.

“It isn’t about a specific threat, rather a general precaution to increase safety”, says police spokesperson Stephan Söderholm to Swedish local public radio P4 Malmöhus.

Several explosions have happened in the Rosengård area of Malmö, and in November there was a bomb blast at a judicial office (rättscentrum).

The police do not say how long the road will be closed. The police station is usually staffed round the clock.
