New elections would saddle municipalities with some costs

New elections will be costly - not just for the state and the election authority, but also for Sweden's municipalities, which need to organize polling places, early voting and the personnel to work at the polls.

For example, Umeå predicts that the extra election will cost them SEK 4 million to carry out, and Skellefteå estimates it will cost them SEK 3 million, reports Swedish Radio P4 Västerbotten.
