Olympiakos fans attack Malmö Airport guards

A Greek football supporter who was taken into custody at Malmö airport, accused of shoplifting, has been freed by other supporters.

They attacked police and security guards and escaped with the suspect, news agency TT reports. Several guards were taken to hospital following the incident, and the suspect was later re-captured by police.

The supporters had come to Malmö to watch tonight's Champions League match between Olympiakos and Malmö FF.
