Justice Minister Gunnar Strömmer says he wants to relocate the justice ministry to Gothenburg and Malmö if his party the Moderates wins the election.

Speaking to news agency TT he says the aim is to bring national government closer to local authorities and strengthen efforts against organised crime.

It wouldn't be a permanent move though, the plan is to base it in Gothenburg for two weeks and in Malmö for two weeks at the start of next year.
