Doctor sentenced for gross negligence causing death during plastic surgery

The doctor's licence has been revoked and the clinic has been banned from performing similar surgery again.

A doctor that anaesthetized a 49-year-old woman in Malmö has been sentenced to two year's in prison for gross negligence that caused her death.

It's been two and a half years since the woman did not wake up again after being sedated during an operation. She had a cardiac arrest.

The doctor denies any wrongdoing.
