Lyssna: Shrinking urban green space in Sweden

At least 1,300 hectares of green space have disappeared from Sweden's large towns and cities in the last five years, according to an investigation carried out by Swedish Radio News.

The review, which looked at towns and cities with at least 50,000 inhabitants, shows that most of them have less green spaces today than they did five years ago.

In Malmö, which has the lowest proportion of green spaces of the towns and cities surveyed, 300 hectares have disappeared.
