There's much to suggest that the two people found in a burnt-out car in Malmö were British citizens, according to the prosecutor assigned to the case.

The burnt-out rental car, which was registered in Denmark, was found in an industrial area in Fosie in the middle of July.

Prosecutor Magnus Pettersson says the police's picture of what happened has gotten clearer, but the investigation's far from over.
