Petrol and diesel prices in Sweden have gone down as a result of two changes that took effect at the start of the new year. One being a tax cut, and the other a decrease of the so-called greenhouse gas reduction mandate.

"It makes a huge difference - it makes me happy", Malmö resident and diesel car driver Zaid Ahmadi tells Swedish Radio's local P4 Malmöhus channel.
