A court has found climate campaigner Greta Thunberg guilty of disobeying police orders during a protest in Malmö earlier this summer, where she and other climate activists blocked oil tanker lorries from going in and out of a port.

Malmö District Court fined the 20-year-old climate activist, who pleaded not guilty and said she acted out of necessity, citing the need created by the climate crisis.

Thunberg told media afterwards she will continue her climate activism.
