Lyssna: 100,000 new residents needed in northern Norrland to fill jobs

Around 100,000 people need to move to northern Norrland to fill jobs there, but the pace of that effort needs to accelerate significantly.

Norrbotten and Västerbotten have received around 2,000 new arrivals in the past year.

At that rate, the total number of new residents over the next decade would fall far short of the estimated 100,000 the Government's coordinator believes are needed.
