Juvenile delinquency has decreased sharply over the past 20 years, according to a study from Malmö University. The main explanation is that today's youth stay at home to a greater extent in the evening, and avoid risky environments. Children are also more strongly monitored by their parents through the use of mobile phones, according to Professor Robert Svensson, who is behind the study.
