Health and social care costs for corona are already twice the amount set aside by the government, based on local government applications for extra funding due to the pandemic.

The deadline for applications for the money was on Monday, and only six local councils haven't asked for any money at all. Stockholm region alone has asked for over SEK 2 billion, and Skåne, which contains Malmö, has asked for over SEK 1 billion.
