Lyssna: Money laundering laws hinder bank loan repayments

After the introduction of a new, stricter law aimed at combating money laundering, some Swedes are finding it difficult to make early or extra instalments on bank loans.

That's because banks demand detailed accounts of how the funds were raised as well as detailed personal finance reviews before approving payments.
