From Sunday onwards, single tickets for adults will cost 2 crowns more in Gothenburg.

Travellers face higher costs as public transport companies are adjusting ticket prices for the new year.

Gothenburg, Malmö, Stockholm, Norrköping and Linköping are some of the cities affected.

While many are unhappy about the changes, public transport companies and politicians say the price hikes actually benefit travellers.
