Petrol's rising costs spark protest rally in Stockholm

It's not just people from out of the big cities..Barbro Hadwiger lives in Malmö and uses her car to travel long distances for work.

Less than a kilometre away from a large climate action protest outside parliament, protesters from the countryside staged their own rally demanding politicians lower taxes on petrol and diesel.

"I live up north and I have to a car to get to work. It's 20 km to the nearest shop. I need a car to live," protester Thomas Fahlin tells Radio Sweden.
