Lyssna: Police uncover alleged prostitution ring in western Sweden

Some 20 women from Romania were allegedly recruited and brought to Sweden to work as prostitutes, police said on Tuesday.

Police said a tip from the public brought an apartment to their attention. Officers said it later turned out to be one of several being used in the ring which operated out of Malmö, Göteborg and Växjö.

On Friday, police detained two men and two women on suspicion of aggravated pimping.
