Öresund Bridge reopened after strong winds

Strong winds whipping through southern Sweden last night led to the temporary closure of the Öresund Bridge, connecting Sweden to Denmark, but this morning, the Swedish national weather service told news agency TT that the wind has started to die down.

The nearly eight kilometer-long bridge was closed for a couple hours, starting from 11 PM. 

Several ferries were cancelled on Wednesday evening. And an SAS plane that was supposed to land at Sturup airport outside of Malmö was rerouted to Ängelholm, where the weather was better.

Some train service has been cancelled until Thursday...
